Phantom Wraith was a unreleased Adaptation originally planned for Evolve, not much is known about this Monster due to never being released.
Appearance
Not much is known about its appearance other than it was more purple in color than a normal Wraith for the normal one is pink.
Lore
Phantom Wraith was the Wraith caught in Wraith Trap that eventually transformed and mutated into the first Adaptation, it managed to escape the failing structure and proceeded to fight off the Hunters and even killed Caira, Lennox, Griffin and Torvald and possibly Blitz Markov, Rogue Val, Tech Sergeant Hank, and a lot of other unnamed hunters. it opened rifts around the planet causing the Cataclysm and mass destruction around the planet, it proceeded to teleport to other planets and destroying them in the process becoming a sort of Boogeyman terrorizing unsuspecting colonies.
It's unknown exactly what caused its transformation into its Adaptation form.
Abilities
Not much is known about it other than afew hints at its abilities.
It was stated to be capable it dragging things towards it almost as if creating a vortex and blows whatever is caught in the blast radius implying the Warp Blast variation.
It is shown to have teleporting capabilities beyond normal Wraiths and even created rifts with the Monster Perk on Wraith Trap possibly showing more focus on its teleportation powers replacing Abduction.
Finally it caused the Cataclysm on Shear and even made Meteors rain from the sky possibly implying it teleported the asteroids to the planet.
its a complete mystery how its iteration on Decoy/Phantom works however.
